Hi - I have an two cycle OS .61 and I would like to know. What would be the best prop I can use to pull some extra weight in my plane?
I am adding about 16 ounces of extra weight to my airplane and I want to get the best performance. Right now I am using an 11x7.5 prop, but I haven't added the extra weight.
any thoughts or ideas?
thanks

I use a 12x6 on my ASP 61 two stroke and it flies my Uproar 60 very well.
A 13x4W would probably also work on my Uproar.
The airframe makes a difference so you should post more details.

Oh - the airplane is a Hangar 9 Frenzy - I had an OS 91 on it and it flew very well... but I am not interested in flying 3D I just want to do regular flying.
I flew it yesterday with the .61 not knowing what to expect and I have to say...I like how it flies with the 61 better than the 91. She feels lighter in the air and more trainer like which is what I am looking for.
I think she should handle the extra pound, I just wanted to know the best prop/engine combination for pulling the extra weight

Getting rid of some of that dead weight would also help it fly better. You might be suprised how much lead you can get rid of by moving the motor forward on the mount rails even 1/2" if you have room.

the extra weight is a lipo battery for a camera system. the camera and transmitter are only like5 ounces more, but the batteries are provably 12 ounces ...at least
