Default Hobby Zone Super Cub (Problems)

I got this Super Cub from Hobbyzone and it doesn't go fuel throttle... It just cuts off when I try to raise the throttle... I was wondering if this is the motor or ESC... I am a new to this hobby so I am just not sure... Any, help thanks...

Cycle your batteries. When new they do this quite often. Also check to make sure those cheesy connectors are making good contact or replace them with deans ultra's. Check out the thread here for more info http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_4371835/tm.htm

If the battery is fully charged then it is the recevier/ESC.   If it is a battey problem, the motor will run at minimum throttle.  If the motor still cuts out and you have charged the battery then it is the receiver/ESC.

Hope this helps

My Super Cub, which is brand new, has been cutting out periodically only at high throttle.  Even with fully charged batts.  Something tells me it's a bad connection, but I don't know squat about these things.</p>
