Has anyone tried this one? I just ordered it and have a few questions. The specs page says it's 5.75 lbs, is this the weight without the motor and radio? or reccomended flying weight.
and at that weight a .40 seems a little light on power for aerobatics. (it is supposed to be a .40 size) below you will find the dist's spec data.
Also I can not find any reviews on it so if you've flown one please chime in as well. I need to know how much motor needed to get unlimited vertical pull.
Thanks, Miloh.
Features a beautiful colored gel-coated fiberglass fuselage. Wings are pre-built multi ply balsa and pre-covered. Comes with a full decal sheet! You can be in the air in only a few hours with this awesome ARF plane. Specs: Wing Span: 57.5", Wing Area: 387.5 sq. in.", Length: 45", Weight: 5.75 lbs., Engine Size: .40 2 Cycle, .52 4 Cycle Required Radio: 4 Channel

I was looking at this plane with a napkin under my chin. I loved the CG SUperchipmunks and I just want a smaller one. I was waiting for a review from some one. I was gpoing to put my YS .63 in the nose.

Yea I've got a super tiger .75 I'd like to try on it but don't know if it will fit under the cowl.
If not I'm going for the sato .72 black knight.

Jamara is a German importer and from the looks of my Gee Bee instruction sheet, they bring them in from China. They didn't reply to my email questions, but the link is http://www.jamara.de

I got it on ebay-the guy was affiliated with jamara, but I don't know how. He got de-listed, so it may have been an under the table deal. Took quite a while to get the plane, but it was excellent quality.

Hello from future! After 20 years from post I would like to ask if somebody survived and could look around for building instructions for this plane. I was lucky to buy secondhand only opened box with this nice plane and there is unfortunately missing building manual. I would be really grateful for any help.
Kind regards,
tthanks,
Robert
