Default Ultra Stick 40 Question

What is the significance of side mounting the engine? I will be using an OS 52 and nothing matches from the mount to the pushrod routing.

Hi

Most Stik Type planes run with the engine upright for ease of use and operation. You can side mount the engine if you want. just measure for the thrust line, then drill and remount for the side ways engine mount. Obviously you have to modify your throttle linkage to make it work, which is not that hard. You will also need to laterally balance your model to get the wings level.

Hanger 9 shows the engine side mounted and I am not sure why. It is the side mount that does not match my OS setup.
