Default Sr. Telemaster wing conversion

I have looked at a bunch of threads to try and figure out the best way to keep a Sr. Telemaster ARF a two piece wing, keep the dihedral and make it a bolt on. Can someone with some good pics and info please help me out or maybe give me a link to some good info. Thanks

There's really no easy way to do it. You can't use a wing joiner that is made to be epoxied in place as a wing joiner that is NOT epoxied.

Your only option would be to buy a wing tube and socket and do major surgery on the wing to install it.

I had a senior telemaster with one piece wing, but at that time, there were other folks modding theirs to be two piece.

The senior telemaster wing is very easy to build, and uses turbulator stringers instead of a D-tube design. I think if you used a wing tube, you could easily build this into it when building the wing. The only issue may be keeping all the dihedral, but still not too hard.

Cut some plywood spars, add some sheeting, boom, you're done.

Yes it is an ARF. I do have the wing stripped down because I couldn't stand the Hobby Lobby billboard on the plane and the covering is a pain to work with anyway.

I am pretty well along with my Sr Telemaster ARF and had the same thoughts as you. I was thinking about building up a support area of blocks in the rear of the fuseand then drilling them for nylon bolts. Then epoxing ply on the top. But then how do you support the front of the wing unless you use twodowels anchored in the wing. I'm afaid of opening up the bottom of the wing and making a mess. I sure don't want to use the 16 rubber bands supplied. Has anyone else tried this?
