Well i don't know if buying yourself a plane for xmas counts, but i've bought myself a Great Planes Big Stik 40 and OS FS .72a.

It will be my little project when i return from holidays. My Wife and daughter are visiting her family for 10 days more than me so i'm looking forward to 10 evenings of uninterrupted hobby time.

I bought it from this guy "Colito925" [link]http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1160934[/link]

He doesn't have them posted on that link, but I went to his site.. turbofanelectrics.com and I showed him another link to a site that had them for $120.00 plus shipping $20.00

Can you beat this price? http://shop.chuckshobbies.com/produc...&categoryId=53

He said He could beat that and sell it for $130 shipped.. with Fan and motor..

I asked my girlfriend for a small .40 size something plane I could take to the field in my truck for when I don't want to hook up the trailer or I'm going to town for other stuff. We shall see what I get.

I bought myself a SebArt Wind 110 for an early Christmas present. This year (and last year) I just asked for gift certificates to some big online hobby shops to outfit my planes. Last year I got a 69" Yak for my birthday in late October and got some fancy high-end servos with the Christmas money; plan on doing the same this year. Servos are one expense that adds up quickly (especially high end/precision models) so this has been a great way to defray the costs.

I hope for the day to have a significant other who puts airplanes under the tree

Hanger 9 bluenose is under our treeI don't care if there are too many mustangs, there is a reason for that[watch the tuskegee airmen].I had a great planes ''stang" and ever since the day it went straight in have wanted another p-51. I got the slimline undead ace pilot from my sons for the bluenose under tree also. In light of how George Preddy died I will name his plane something else though, like Spector II or Grey Ghost, Miss Ghastly or some other "haunted name.

The only way I'll get one is if I buy it myself.
