Put the T-34 Mentor together this afternoon...Too windy to test fly. Hope to get home from work early enough one day this week to try it out.

You'll enjoy it it's a fun flying plane. FYI if you have not done so, check to make sure the propeller nut is tight. It came pre assembled and I didn't check it (my mistake). My spinner popped off on the second takeoff attempt. I get a good 8 minutes of flying at 1/2-3/4 throttle with the stock battery.

Well this place has changed ALOT since 81....Hercules exploded in the 90's and they continue to build.
I usually fly my helis on a dead end street down by the water...They extended the street to build a Walmart but that got killed off by the City Council (thank god!) and we were left with a "Road to nowhere". It should make a great place to fly the T-34...The empty road is long enough to land a real plane on and the road is in-line with the prevailing winds.
There is a club/field out in Richmond that I've though of joining...Imade a trip out there awhile back and was greeted by 2 VERYunfriendly old guys that told me Iwas on private property...Guess they're not big on recruiting
