I've followed the break in instructions to a T, I ran it eayfor the first several tanks after the brek in an had aout 56 flights. However, i still get black fuel. Does this mean i'm damaging my engine?

Check to see that your muffler is tight on the engine, and the muffler itself is assembled tight.

Like Motorman said. Also is the oil truly black. Look close use a white paper towel and see if it has an Amber color-if so your OK, if not your lean and hot. Try a couple clicks richer and check again. The color should be dark amber but not pure black.
