Well, I can honestly say the plane flies great. It is not a speed demon, but it has a respectable speed and it is not overly sensitive.
The plane does have one negative that I have found. I fly off a grass field. On landing, even though the grass is short, it is not unusual for a light plane, or one with small wheels to nose over on landing. I have tried landing on the grass several times, each time I would get a short roll out (3 point landing), the plane would almost be at a stop, then a nose over. EVERY LANDING THAT HAS HAD A NOSE OVER HAS RESULTED IN A BROKEN RUDDER. I have constructed a rudder from balsa and will try that. I FINALLY got the rudder installed - trying to find that grommet is an exercise in patience.

I had the same nose-over problem with a Great Planes Corsair .40 that I built, and nearly everytime, I banged up the rudder.
I solved the nose-over problem by bending the (fixed) wire main gear forward of the leading edge about 3/4", but not before i built a whole new vertical stabilizer and rudder out of bala WITH 1/32" ply glued to each side of both. Never had broken rudder / vertical stab problems again.

FWIW - the Turnigy 1500 mah battery is a little longer than the stock battery. If you remove the piece of foam at the bottom of the battery compartment the battery fits quite nicely.
I do have aq question you may be able to help with. Where can I get battery connectors to fit the stock connectors on the ESC (4mm bullet with that "fancy" housing)? I had ordered a 1500 and a 3000 battery at the same time. The 3000 had the correct connector, so I cut it off the 3000 and soldered it onto the 1500. On all my other electrics I use Anderson Power Poles (never had a problem with them and they are A LOT easier to solder, connect and disconnect than Deans.

Hi everybody...I hope this will become the "official" art-tech f4u corsair forum, because I haven't seen one yet. let's keep it going!
Anyways, I flew my Corsair for the first time last week and it handled awesome! It was my first 4ch plane, apart from a few attempts at flying a PZ UM p-51. I can't compliment this plane enough...it flies beautifully, has an awesome scale appearance, and does acrobatics like they're nothing. I only have one qualm...barrel rolls are sort of tough to carry out; the corsair doesn't seem to want to flip over. When it is upside down though, once again it handles very nicely.
I didn't have the problem you guys had with it flipping at landing...however, I've been belly-landing it because I think it looks cooler in the air [8D]. Anybody want to share their experiences with this plane? I'm curious to see a negative review of it.
