Can anyone tell me what is the recommended control throws for the TBM Zero. I down loaded the manual and it doesn't state the amount of throws. Believe it or not the ARF didn't come with the manual. Thanks

TBM 91" Zero manual located here:
http://www.troybuiltmodels.com/newsi...BM_91_Zero.pdf
Per pg 19:
"We prefer about 70 degrees of flaps and 25 degrees of ailerons."
under the "stabs" section (I assume horizontal stabilizer)
"3/4†of throw up and down."
Page 14 "rudder":
"Try to obtain as much rudder throw as possible."
Hope that helps

Hi Manny,
Say that your Flap cord is 3.4" wide.
At 25 degrees the distance from the TE of the Flap to the TE of the Wing would be 1.47"
At 45 degrees the distance from the TE of the Flap to the TE of the Wing would be 2.54".
If it is 70 degrees the distance from the TE of the Flap to the TE of the Wing would be 3.85".
Hope this of help.

Your right it's a pain in the A.. thanks for helping me out. I'm more used to the manual giving this info. in mm or inches. It threw me for loop when it came to degrees. Thanks again.

Keep in mind that the example I gave made the assumption the cord was 3.4.
The cord of the Flap of the TBM Zero will most likely be different.
What is the cord (width) of the TBM Zero's Flap?
