Default Balance Point

Great Planes Big Stik 60. It says between 3-3/4 to 4-1/2 inches. Doesn't how far from the fuse.... anybody?

Thanks

Presuming you haven't modified the straight wing that's stock on that model, it won't matter.

Normal protocal when a CG point or range is suggested as a distance from the leading edge then that distance is expressed as a measurement from the leading edge at the fuselage or right next to it.

Thanks. It definitely makes a difference. No modifications on the plane, out of the box, it balances near the wing tips and is nose heavy at the fuse.

Then either:

A) You're not using the same point at both locations
or
B) Something's different on that airplane from every stik I've ever seen.

The only way that is possible is if you have a forward swept wing. As stated by gboulton above, that would make it a very odd Big Stik .60.

Page 18 of the manual specifies 4" from the LE close to the fuse:

Response from Chad Veich above makes perfect sense.
