Hello Xhigh,

I am still flying it and I love it. I have the pitts muffler that is offered by Magnum. It works and it stick out of the bottom. I will take a picture tomorrow if you need it. I just looked on the site and don't see one for the 91 anymore. I have the 91 2 stroke and have it side mounted. I am not sure if the 91 4 Stroke will fit though. I am not sure how much bigger it is than the 2 stroke. Mines fits perfect but it couldn't be any bigger.

Also before you waste your time and mount the front landing gear from the kit. Go out and by a solid one. The supplied one stinks. It's no better than a coat hanger.

</div><div>Thanks for the info - there is a difference between the mount on the muffler for the four stroke, it has the round exhaust port. I planned on picking up a better front nose gear based off what I have been reading. I think I might have one sitting around??? We will see. It's nice to see that after a year there is still people flying this plane. Makes me feel better about the purchase. I've already been thinking of upgrades, but will probably only upgrade the nessecery items to get her flying. </div><div>

Well feel even better, I have been flying it now for almost 4 years. My wife bought it for me when my son was born. He turns 4 this year. :D

i have a saito 115 4 stroke in my t-28 with plenty of room to spare nothing is sticking out of the cowl so a magnum 91 will be no problem

Hi Xhigh! I built mine about 3 years ago and it was fun to go back and skim through this thread again. I know lots of guys were able to hide the stock mufflers inside the cowl of this great plane. Your Magnum 91FS should be plenty of power for this plane. In fact, be ready to throttle back, haha. I am still flying mine but with about 15 planes, I don't fly the T-28 every weekend. Still flies great though, and seeing the thread kinda charges me up to take it out real soon. This is a really fun flying airplane, and after ironing things out like the too long nose LG, and need for more engine downthrust, the plane has been problem free and a real joy. It's also fun to dress it up. Hey, I lived in Dover many eons ago, 1978-1981, on Townsend Blvd, fairly close to the race track. Jon

My T28 is now in its 5th flying season and still going strong with an OS 61 SF engine. Who else is still flying theirs?

Still flying mine too. I think I changed bearings on the Saito 82 once so far while in the T-28, wearing it out! Still loving it. Here it is at our Warbird Weekend a month ago. That's my P-47 too....both are great flying planes.

I'm on my second one. Stripped the covering off and did the yellow/green version. Put markings on it from ATU 700 as my father served in that unit. Did mine up electric. 5s 3000 battery pack. Flaps and nav lights but no retracts. This is my go-to plane for fly-ins. It handles any field and flies awesome like everyone else's. Keep 'em Flying!

NICELY DONE! More pics please. I did some LG doors on mine, which I think are discussed early in this thread. They show a little in the group pic a few posts above. YOUR T-28 would look stupendous with them, just IMHO. Looks great as is too. Jon

Landing gear doors.... You know, I never thought of that as I built this a a "utility" plane. A daily flyer. But you are absolutely right. For just a little extra effort, they WOULD dress it up a bit. I looked at yours and can't believe I didn't think of that. Yours looks GREAT!
Here's a couple more pics and since we're all T-28 lovers here, I thought I'd include a picture of the ESM T-28 that I DID put gear doors on. They cover up ESM Gen 3 electric retracts. Rimfire 160, 5 cell 5000 mah batteries x2 for go power, flaps, retracts, nav lights and gear doors! The works. She's a favorite of mine. Keep 'em Flying! Dave

Well better late then never 2015 :) !!
Still have mine new in box and going to start the bash .
Electric retracts, 100amp ESC , 90 size epowered motor .

Need a canopy for a BH T-28, any ideas on where to find one?
