This is a picture of the rotor head mounted on an A of A gearbox.
Now all I have to do is build the gyro, I'm thinking of something like a Goofy with a Wankel for power.

Hi,
It looks like your teetering rotor head has way to much teeter. the plans for my chipawa four autogyro say to set the head teeter to 3 degrees. one degree equals one inch of movement at 58 inches or 1/2 inch at about 27 inches from the teeter hinge pin.
Lots of luck.
Earl.

This is the rotor I saw in Martiinsville, and it does indeed look to have very limited teetering.
I was going to put an Allen bolt on each side to limit teetering, but from looking at this picture I think I'l just lower the pivot so the rotor arm hits the hub on the bottom to limit teetering.

I tried to lower the teeter bar, but I couldn't without a lot of work, so I went back to the limiting stop bolt idea. In the picture the teetering bar is at it extreme teeter angle. One good thing about using this method is I will be able to change the amount of teetering and see how it effects the flying.

What's the max teeter angle??? Can you tilt the head ~ forward, backward, side to side or is it fixed?

I drilled the bottom with a 1/4" drill, then counterbored the bottom from the top down to hold the 1/4-24 nut that comes with the Masterairscrew gear housing.
