I have the RCM&E magazine dated November 1987 which has the article on the DB Gyrace. The CG is about 25% of the way back from the LE of the wing - no more!

Thanks thtoyman.Icant post pictures,I havent got that far
with computors yet.
Thanks Colin.I will try 25%. from what i can remember
it was very criticle of the cg.The gyro had a small wing\
about 25 ins span. The rotors 4 blade 24 ins dia.
The rotors are at each end of the wing,on the leading edge.
It also has a T tail.

Aditionaly
I had been told by someone That it should balance at the rotor
shaft, but that does not work,It flys like its nose heavy.
3 feet off the ground with lots of up elevator.Give it more up and
it mushes into the ground.Ill try 25% and see.

Here is the best I can manage. Note that this is David Boddington`s `Gyrace`, not the plane referred to above, but same principles guess - & same designer. Fold in magazine page does not help the scanning either, the CG is shown by a small triangle about 1/4 way back from the LE.
Hope this helps.
