Default Single cell charging = difficult?

Greetings!

With my Triton charger, I get a few false peaks (right off the bat!) when trying to charge my single cell glow driver. (1350 mah Nimh) I've upped the peak sensitivity to 8, but that did not seem to help. Any ideas?

Also, why does charging a single cell cause the fan to turn on? I would think charging 24 cells would do that!

I'm not sure why (someone here may tell) but it seems to take lots of power/heat to charge single cells. I blew up 3 triton chargers cycling single cells.

sorry , not very encouraging, but how about checking the "peak delay at start" and setting to at least 5 minutes?

Interesting! I will take a look at that. If you realize that the charger false peaked, it's no big deal. I wonder though how many times someone has assumed that they had a full charge?

After thinking about this more, perhaps a single cell has a very low internal impedance, looking nearly like a short to the charger and causing irregularities.

I get false peaks when charging single cells all the time. I don't know why.

I too would love an answer to this question.

When I got false peaks it was only a few times on my single cells, but never figured out why.

I'm wondering about the "peak delay at start" function when doing a discharge to charge or when doing a cycleing function. Would it delay every charge cycle?

you should have bought a TEKIN 112C charger and a TEKIN 350 discharger cycle like me. I have never had a problem with them.
