Hello,
I am relatively inexperienced at batteries and wanted to ask a question: I am using a standard four cell 4.8v 600maH receiver pack in a plane. I charge overnight (12 hours) using the standard Futaba wall charger rated at 50 mah. My full charge voltage is around 5.3 volts and after four 14 minute flights and a total ontime of a little over one hour, the receiver voltage never reads less than 5.03 volts. Does this sound right? I am surprised by two things: 1) that the charged voltage is so high; and 2) that the voltage is still over 5 volts after an hour of use. I guess I expected both to be closer to 4.8 volts. Thoughts?
Thanks,
Travis

It's fine. Look at the discharge curves at the following link. The majority of battery life is above the 1.1 volt per cell.
