Hi everybody !
In my new project I intend to use 2 x 1500 mA Nicds to power all the servos and 1 x 1100 mA to the receiver. I would appreciate any diagram, related article or explanation to put everything to work properly e.g. the power from the 1500 mA packs don't interact with the 1100 mA pack. I know that I saw such diagram in a now loose RC magazine sometime ago. Thank you all

One way to do it. At the receiver all the black and all the red wires supply power to the servos with the yellow wires carrying positioning. So break all the red (positive) lines from the servos. The end of the lines that connect to the servos are now wired to a switch harness, tape the other ends off. If you are going to use two battery packs just use two switch harnesses in parallel. The black wire from the switch harness is spliced into the black wire going to the receiver (it's the common).
Wire the receiver normally with the 1100 mA battery pack and you are done.

The only reason I suggested at the receiver is so you would understand the electrical wiring without using a schematic. If physically it makes more sense to cut the wires at the servo do it. Make sure your wiring to the battery packs and servos is heavy duty. I'd suggest 22 guage minimum.
