What Web site(s) do you recommend to purchase batteries ?
Noobie here 
I use Futaba equipment (not that it probably makes a difference ).
What web site(s) do you recommend to purchase high-quality replacement Xmitter and Receiver batteries ?
I assume bigger (in terms of mah) is better in this case ?
Is there any brand you prefer over others or are they pretty much the same ?

I think Sanyo is generally regarded as the best quality NiCd batteries. Don't know about NiMH.
Bigger mAh gives more flight time but has other compromises. Lots of information on Red's site: www.rcbatteryclinic.com and on www.radicalrc.com

If you are going to buy larger than 1100 mAh batteries be sure you have a way to form charge them at C/10 for 14 to 16 hours. It is very important to do to realize maximum life from your packs. Especially with NiMh packs.
