Default glow fuel containers

I understand that you can only use certain plastic containers for the storage of your glow fuel. I know that the code on the bottem of the container tell you what the makeup of the container is. It is located in a triangle with a number such as 1,2, 3 so on. I see that you can use the code of (2), Its the one on the gallon containers when you purchase the fuel.. Is a ( 1 ) also a viable container. I had used a Rubbermaid container once and it contaminated my fuel. The reason I want to use a container with a code of a one is it is the only plastic container I can find that is clear in a half gallon size. I want to be able to see the amount of fuel that is left in container.
