Default MRC Super Brain 959 any good?

I'm looking for a charger to charge my rx pack on my lst2(1100mah) and some 7.2v batteries. Can the 959 do the batteries I want it to do? Also is there any other chargers I sould look at in the $50 range that will do what I want to charge?

yes, it will do ok and a better choice may be the digital piranha by duratrax.

Thanks for the super quick response now with these chargers(this may sound like a stupid question) do I need special connectors to connect my rx pack to the charger?

Yes, you will need some kinda adapter to go to tamiya connector for the 959, the digital piranha will accept a bare wire connector. I do not know which connector the lst has on it's rx pack, but you can buy one or make one.

Those bare wires will plug into the spring connectors on the piranha.

Thanks I think I'm gonna go with the Duratrax 1 because I've been reading all over the net and I see a lot of people like the Duratrax over the 959. Thanks for all the info!

Well I got my digital piranha charger today and was wondering whats the max amps I can charge my reciever pack safely. It's an 1100 mah pack so I'm guessing 1.1 amps?

Tiny batts like that will get too hot at 1C. If they are AA then a max of about 1/2 amp (or less)
