Default another MRC 977 question...

I bought some Reedy X-Rated 3700 matched stick packs and am trying to charge them with my MRC 977. I am charging them at a conservative 1 amp,30mv and set to stop charging at 3700mah. They dont quite make it to that though. I charged and discharged them a few times now. The highest I could get them to go is about 1800mah. Is this normal or am I doing something wrong?

The rate is probably too low causing a "slow peak" fault. Push display to read stop code during the trickle charge.

code 02 is slow peak and 00 is normal peak. Increase rate to 3 amps or more.

I tried increasing the charge rate to 3.7amps but I am getting the 02 code. Any suggestions?

Default RE: another MRC 977 question...

Chargeing with a wall charger at around 350-400 ma for 15 hrs would be my first suggestion.

Second idea is to simply push start again without changing any setting on the 977 (with code 02)

Third idea is to increase rate to 5 amps.

Fourth idea is to use it normally and after a few cycles it'll probably be good.

Are both packs acting up on both charger channels?
