GWS MC2002 Charger Use
Hi, I have a GWS MC2002 Charger, when I plug it into a 12v power source, the red LED blinks 3 times as it should, but when I connect a battery (eg 7 cell 1400 mAh pack for an easystar) it does not react - the LED's do not light up, nor does the ammeter change, and turning the charge level knob has no apparent effect.
When I measure the output I am getting 26v across the output terminal, which seems high, but I have no exerpience of other chargers to judge
Any help would be appreciated, as I do not have the manual, and I am new to this - the Easystar is great fun, but so far I can only slow charge the batteries, with a wall charger I have.
Thanks
Giles

RE: GWS MC2002 Charger Use
As a follow up to this problem -
GWS emailed me with some tips and following helped - the charger will only charge a battery that is mostly, if not completely, discharged, for a battery that is nearly full it does not top them up, and appears unresponsive.
This was the problem I was having.
Hope this helps somebody!
