Today Bantam announed the new e-Station BC-8 Balancing charger.

The new e-Station BC-8 is a 150 Watt, 7 Amp charger that can charge and balance up to an 8S lithium Poly, Lithium Ion, as well as the new Li-Fe cells (A123 Systems M1 cells).

The e-Station BC-8 will also charge up to 27 Nicad/Nimh cells and up to 36V Lead Acid batteries.

Includes Temp sensor, graphing software/USB Cable, and a 9 pin pigtail for the Lithium balancing. Thunderpower, Kokam, Align, and Polyquest adapters are available.

Price to be determined very shortly. Availability is about 2 weeks.

Prices may vary somewhere in the $270 range. They will be in stock in less than 2 weeks. A unit has already been designated to be sent in for review for a spring issue of Model Aviation Magazine.

The closest charger on the market to this is the TP 1010C and optional balancer or the new TME Extrema. While some features overlap, neither come close to all the features of the BC-8.
