Astroflight 112D Upgrade Chip?
I have an Astroflight 112D digital charger. It is not the Deluxe version, but it is new enough that it can charge up to 40 cells, instead of others I've seen which only charge 36.
Has anyone installed the upgrade chip? If so, what does it do?
I know the chip for the Lipo charger extends the Timeout from 1 hour to 10 hours. Does the 112D upgrade do that as well?
Also does it add the discharge capability that the 112 Deluxe has?
I imagine the upgarde chip for the 110D would have similar updates, so if you have installed that chip, what did it do?

The answer I got back from Astroflight was a wordy, longwinded
"upgrade chip will not work"
No explanation why, or how it won't work. Also no reply to my second email as to how I can increase my timeout from 1 hour to anything more.
I guess with service like that, it's no suprise people favor the Electrifly Triton instead.
