The way I was able to get to fly and not piss off the wife was a schedule. Twice a week was fine as long as she knew when I was going.

I agree with RobStagis.
If your married, twice a week is pretty good, when she knows you're going. Just popping up with "I'm going flying" usually "doesn't fly"! :devious: LOL!! Sorry, couldn't resist that pun.
If you're single....get your ***** out there, what are you doing reading this??????

As often as the three 'W's allow (Work, Weather, Wife)... actually, for "wife" read "family commitments... kids etc...my wife is really very supportive!... I work one in three weekends, my wife works too, the weather(typical west coast rain) interferes.... I figure I'm doing well if I get to fly one weekend in three!

All day Saturday and Sunday (was a great weekend!) and also every Tuesday and Thursday for trainer night to help out. Of course, I get to go up in between trainer flights...

Just started flying this spring. With my trainer, I was addicted, so I was going about four times per week. Put together a 4*60 ARF and on the third flight of the first day, few it below the three mistake level, augered -in. Needless to say that slowed me down till I got it replaced, could have flown the trainer, but was determined to get the 4*60 under control . Well, the new 4*60 flew yesterday. I try to go out Sat and Sun, and one day during the week when I am off work. One problem at my club is certain days are for combat and some nights are for training. Also the days are getting shorter, we were flying till nine at night, now it is getting dark earlier and earlier.

I try to get out at least once a week but even that is limited to a couple of hours. I am planning to be out on Friday this week before the holiday. I took the day off. Then it's off to Cleveland for the Cleveland International Air Show. I try to go every year.
Bill
Mike - Sorry about the 4*60. Hope it's ok.

Hi Red Wing!
The 4*60 was totalled, so I got a new one. I will be at the field this Friday late afternoon. How is the SSE? Have a good time at the air show, wish I had known about it.

well lets see Im a kid so I sleep as much as possible but the other day I was up till 3:00 putting together A new plane for my bud so we could fly so we got up at 8:00 got to the field around 10:30 had to make some stops on the way. then we stayed there till 6:00 and that was a short day at the field then I did the same thing the next day. so I typicly fly 2-3 times a week over the summer and 1-2 times a week over the school year. or in other words as much as my mom can stand the inevitable mom can I go flying? questions. sorry for the long post
