Iwill send Santa the link to this thread.
Here is mine. (in my best 8 year old kid voice)
Dear Santa.
Ihave been a good boy this year, I even married that nice girl Imet 20 years ago. Ihavent punched anyone in the nose all year (even when Ireally wanted too) and I have not told people what I really think of them even when they were being stupid, not even once.
Please bring me a nice P-40 Warhawk kit or ARF, I will fly it every chance Iget and use one of those wonderful engines in it you brought me in years past. I promise to be good and help people on the forum and at the field with their questions.
Iwill leave a "special" eggnog for you (with a little scotch in it), it is really good that way and Ihope you like it. If you bring me a P-40 that is over a .25 size you can take all the carrots from my fridge for your Reindeer. Jeff
PS
My new son Andre wants one of those foam F-16 ducted fan jets so we can fly together so if you could bring us each one we could have dogfights and lots of fun, you can make mine a Mig 21.

Dear Santa
I'm good on RC stuff, {well maybe a few recievers and batteries would be nice} but what I really want is, you knowmy neighbors tree that is right in the middle of the north approach ? If some how it fell down or went away I'd be soooo good next year.

Dear Santa
I wish for happiness for me and my family, and for the situation with the house to finally be settled this new year in our favor (which is for the foreclosure to go thru) and myself and family to be settled in new apartments without the headache of the house anymore.
AND PLEASE, SANTA, HAVE ME FINALLY LEARN TO FLY THIS YEAR!!!!!
Thank you
Steve
To everyone in RCU, have a very safe and merry Christmas.

Dear Santa,
I have been a good boy most of the year. I would like a new 80cc Gas engine, Some new Futaba and Spektrum 2.4 receivers- 8 channel please, some 2700 mAh 6.0 volt receiver battery packs, and a whole bunch of digital high-torque servos (at least 120 oz-in of torque, please)
Ok, now that you know what I want, I want to tell you what I want for my wife. My wife's grandmother is dying of lung and liver cancer. No, she's not a drinker, and she hasn't smoked in 50 years. What I would love the most is for Grandma to feel ok and not be in pain through these last months of her life. She has been fighting with this cancer for four years now, and she is ready to be done fighting, so just let her feel ok until the end...
Thanks Santa.
P.S. I'll gladly give up my wish list if you can with My wife's gift.
Sorry guys, I needed to get that off my chest.

Agreed. May all my virtual flying buddies have the happiest of holidays.
There is a song. The RAAF flew Gloster Meteors during Korea but they were envious of the US pilots with their Sabre jets. I once spoke with a former US fighter pilot of the era. He attended a Christmas party with the Aussies. They proceeded to get thoroughly in their cups and sang, "All I Want for Christmas is My Wings Swept Back".
