How good is the Nexstar Electric? Giving it some consideration, looking at the mini rxr. Either that or the full blown one and just swap the RX for a Spektrum to match my DX6i.

It arrived today... and in the box, to my surprise, was a Futaba T6EXAP digital radio instead of the 6YG analog I was expecting. Yeehaw!

When you get conferable with the plane, try a APC 12X6 or 12X8. I like the 8, but it will pull the elevator off if you dive wide open, (go ahead, ask me how I know!)... so use some common sense with if you try the APC 12X8. Scoot

The batteries and charger I bought for it were too expensive and I gave up on it fast. There is nothing wrong with the plane and flies absolutely nice. I never flew with the PA2 system connected as my instructor was not very fond of it ( for good reason too)
Quoting from the manual underhttp://manuals.hobbico.com/hca/hcaa09-manual.pdf on page 16 it states:
"The PA-2 sensor operates by sensing the strength and contrast of<p style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 10.0px Helvetica; color: #161616">sun light. I found that for me, flying just about 12mins and waiting to recharge the batteries was not worth it. Of course, I could have bought a spare set of batteries and continue, BUT i decided to go to glow.
I bought the Hobbico 60 size MKIII trainer as an RTF that comes with an OS .65LA engine and have been extremely happy (both with the plane and the engine).
Here is the battery packhttp://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?Q=1&I=LXSLB2&P=3
Again, beautiful plane, great setup but NOT for me .... comes down to a preference.
I hope this helps!
