Default Neat video-MI contribution to B-24

Very Interesting !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Henry Ford was determined that he could mass produce bombers just as he had done with cars. He built the Willow Run assembly plant and proved it. It was the world's largest building under one roof. even then FORD HAD A BETTER IDEA!

This film will absolutely blow you away - one B-24 every 55 minutes. ADOLF HITLER HAD NO IDEA THE U.S. WAS CAPABLE OF THIS KIND OF THING. There is no way he could have even guessed.

For those who live outside of Michigan , Willow Run is near Belleville , Canton and Ypsilanti , MI

It's amazing that one B-24 (built with over 1.225 million parts) came off the assembly line every 55 minutes

Take a few minutes to watch this snapshot of history.

Very impressive video, thanks for sharing it with us. 55 minutes to complete one is incredible.

This is Why they call them the GREATESTGENERATION! To think that one plane every 55 mintues came off the line is a marvel in itself! I have also been in awe of that Generation,My Foster Father was in WW2 and he has always been a hereo to me! I wonder if today we could or would make the same sacrifices that they did? I would hope so ???
Great Video and Remember to Thank our Service People when you can!!! I have a Son who is serving in the Marines right now,He has 5 deployments and is now a Staff Sgt. and a Headinstuctor in Va.Beach for CQB= Close Quarter Combat. So Now he is my Hereo
God Bless America!!!!!!!!!!
