Still can't get split elevator to work

I have a DX7 that I am trying to program for split elevator. I can only get the elevator to work one direction. If I pull back on the stick the elevator goes full up, but when I push forward on the stick it only goes to neutral. I am using mix 6 elev-aux2 100% One elevator in the elevator channel and the other elevator in the aux2 channel. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
It says in the instruction to input select menu: INH the Aux2 don't know how I get to the option.

I use two elevator servos in my ShowTime 50. The attachments are pdf images of spreadsheets that I use to record my radio settings.
att 1 - system radio settings
att 2 - function radio settings
HTH
btw - Iuse channels 3 & 7 (ELEV&AUX2). Iuse MIX5 for flaperons (which I don't use - yet) and MIX6 for the elevators.

here is what Horizon hobby sent me for instructions
Thank you for contacting Horizon Hobby Product Support.
To set up duel elevators you will need to perform the following:
Input Select Menu: INH the AUX 2
Program Mix 5 or 6: MIX Elevator and AUX 2
Rates +100 up +100 down
Plug the right elevator in the elevator channel and left elevator in AUX
2 port on the receiver.
How do I get to the input section to INH Aux2? I can get both sides of the elevator to go in the same direction. Problem is: they both go down the same, but one will only go about 1/2 of the way up compared to the other side.

If I remember correctly (I'm at work now without my Tx) the inhibit Aux 2 function is accessed by turning on the Tx with both the buttoms pressed. In this mode make sure that you have the correct model selected then scroll through the options until you get to the correct on.
Your problem with 1/2 movement may be because you have the Aux2 switch in the wrong position, inhibiting should fix it though.

To get to "system" settings hold "scroll down" & "select" while turning the radio on. Use the scroll up & down to walk thru the various "system" screens.
To get to "function" settings turn the radio on without holding any buttons then hold "scroll down" & "select". Use the scroll up & down to walk thru the various "function" screens.
IMHOthe Spektrum instructions suck. No way of being PC- they are poor. I'll duck now. This was my 1st radio. Ihad no clue what channels were. No clue what mapping meant. Mixing?Something you do when ya bake a cake.

AUX2 may also have a knob the is used for other functions. Be sure to see if it is really dead after you inhibit the channel. My 8103 still had the knob working after I inhibited the channel. Wasn't supposed to, but it did. They should have corrected it by the DX7.
