No I haven't but I fly mostly gas anymore....but OS makes a great line of engines..I wouldn't hesitate a second to use an OS...the last glow engine I bought was the 75AX, I have used the 1.60, 40FX, 40LA 46AX, 60FX just great engines.

I own and I've flown the OS .55 AX, the OS .75 AX and the OS 1.20 AX. All are fine engines. As Jetmech said.. I would not hesitate one second to buy and fly the .65, or the .95 for that matter.

As most of the specs for output power from any engine manufacturer are a tad bit exaggerated, 2 hp at 16,000 rpm.. well, ok. . They recommend Propellers: 12x6, 13x6-7 or 14x6. None of these will turn that RPM range on that engine. And I don't think many folks will recommend a smaller prop just to get the RPM up there, either. The noise alone would drive most folks away from the flight line.

Sorry.. I didn't mean to digress like that. I got carried away.

Well, a close friend in in Singapore this week and I have asked him to get me a 65ax if he can. It will be cheaper that way. It will go well with either my Seagull Edge 40 or my Reactor 46.

I really need my 55ax to work though. Till yesterday I was having idle problems with it. Today someone at the field who was helping me thrash the troubles asked me to raise the idle a bit and that kept it working. But I kept getting a deadstick after 2-3 minutes of flying and at 50-60% throttle with 60 % if the tank still with fuel.

I am still getting black oul from the exhaust. See the attached image

Not clear what the problem is. Will replace all the fuel lines tomorrow and re-setup the tank. But that is the most I can do. I will give another day of adjustment to the engine and if everyone has given up next Sunday, I will replace the engine with atleast a 75ax. To say the least I am fed up with it.
