Default Will the engine mount melt?

I'm mounting an OS LA 46 to a dubro nylon mount, but to get the mounting screws in the middle of the beam, the beams have to be so close to the engine, that it touches the engine casing(Where the crank shaft is)
Will this melt the mount? If it does, will mounting the engine off center ofthe beams be sketchy?

The engine will not get hot enough to melt the mount. Do not mount it off center.

Car engines use allot of plastic on the eng and in the cooling system
so the mount can handle it no prob.

I agree with all the guys. Just a quick question before you start mounting.............. Do you have the correct distance from the washer to the firewall? Ive never heard of perfect center.

I believe he means the engine between the rails, not the forward / backward mount position in the rails. Don't worry, they won't melt.
