Default Du-Bro Spinner Nut

I have the dubro spinner -nut for my os46fx. My question is the way to put it on. I would put the prop to the back of the engine thrust washer then a washer in front of the prop, now do i put the spinner-nut on flush with the washer, and leave the original prop nut that came with engine off. Tthis is the first one i have had so thanks guys mike

For me, the DuBro spinner nut replaces everything normally in front of the prop. No washer, nut or lock nut needed. I love 'em!

Default Spinner Nut...

Ditto what N7OR said. The one in the picture is a Harry Higley spinner nut but the idea is exactly the same.

Hope we helped,
Phil

you should use a washer, it prevents the prop from spinning free. but that is all.

I use piles of these types of things. They go on as N7OR said. Leave the washer off. All the washer does normally is keep the small prop nut from digging in to the prop. The spinner nut is basically a prop nut and washer formed in to one part.
