Default futaba radio question

i'm still some what new in rc planes but im getting there. my question tho is i bought the futaba 6j FHHS and was wondering. if you have one and like it? and can any futaba FHHS rx link to it like if i wanted to get a 4channel for my trainer plane? i'd like to get rid of my other radio i have with my trainer its a tactic tx404 its good but i wanted more out of a radio. i just didn't know if i could take a 4 channel rx and link it to a the 6j.

Any of the FHSS and S-FHSS recievers will link to the 6J

If it will fly the plane, you may just want to keep it as a backup. I had 2 different TX that would fly a couple of planes, and once I blew a fuse in one of the TX. I still had the other TX to back it up with, also, it acts a buddy box for when other people come over...
