Default Help With Plane Name and CG

Hi All Great forum

First question can you name the plane?

Help me find where the CG should be to start?

Plane specs are Length 30" wingspan 36"

the plane is tail heavy just a little when the CG is around 2 " from leading edge if it looks ok than ill leave it no weights on yet

The plane is a old art that friend started and couldnt finish and trying to finish it for him

any other questions and comments are welcome

Thanks John

Tequila Sunrise as sold by Hobby people in the past.

Flys well if you balance at the quarter chord or 25% mean aerodynamic chord, measured at mid span (thats half way between the fuselage side and the wingtip.

These airplanes did not seem to last long and beleve it was because folks commonly tried to fly them at 30% and that airplanes dos not fly well that far back.

Yeap!

Tequila Sunrise, fallow the instruction John has given you, I remember I had to come in hot then just over the runway close the throttle for a perfec landing [&:].

Practice some slow flight up high to get used to the stalls.

Have fun with it

Thanks John and Cars

I will measure the aerodynamic cord later and make sure it is around the 25% you suggested
And thanks for finding a review for me that's real cool

Thanks Again John
