Default Transmitter/Receiver compatability question

I just bought a RTF warbird with an Airtronics 2.4 rx in it. Is the Airtronics 2.4 rx compatible with an Hitex Aurora 9 transmitter. I have a couple Optima 9 rx's laying around but not in the mood to remove and replace the Rx if I dont have to.

thnaks in advance although I feel the answer is gonna be no!

thanks

Nope, RXs tend to be proprietary to their TX. Sorry.

As Chuck said, they are not compatible. With all the current 2.4 radios the receivers are proprietary and you have to use the receiver of the same brand as your transmitter.<div>

As already indicated that is a combination that will not work. The simplest solution for you is to drop in a Optima Rx but there may be no need for the for the Nine channel unit. For most of the Warbirds I have the seven is fine and in some cases even the six channel Optima.

What exactly is the airplane?

Thanks for the replies guys, thats what I figured.

Its a ESM Dauntless with dive brakes and flaps, I was just trying to see if I could sidestep swapping out the reciever issue with the wiring. Oh well, I'll just start labeling them and begin.

thanks again guys.

after thought, I know about positive and negative shift with the FMs and DSM2 and FASST, I was just hoping to get lucky with my combination. No biggie
