Don,t feel to bad taking off with a reversed control has happened to many and reversed ailerons seems to be the most common. A good last minute check is always good standing directly behind the airplane.

Yep, every time I turn the radio on I check all controls from behind. What helps me is I bank left and right when I move the stick to mimic the wing moving and verify that the controls are going the correct direction.
