ok question on flying a top flight 182 cessna
ok i have a question on flying a top flight 182 cessna. ok i have had this plane up in the air three times now first 2 time one of the best flyer at my club helped me get it trimmed in.
ok my last 2 flights both went well with good landings and all but each flight felt different. the last flight my sticks felt (hard to explain) like i had to fight the plan to turn (more left than right) the plane seemed very loose.
not sure if i am getting my point across. i fly with it on 20% expo on low rate 30% on high. is that good or should it be higher.
the cg is good the plane isnt out of control just seems like it take alot of stick movment to move here around. i thought about it after and i didnt use any rudder on turns should i have i know it would have helped. i know cubs need rudder do cessnas need it aswell.

Up the expo to 30 low 40 high. But if I don't have enough expo on my aerobats it feels like I'm chasing the airplane. In other words the airplane is rocking and I'm behind on ailerons.
good luck.
by the way do you fly rudder ? or make your turns with only ailerons some aircraft need rudder inputs to make good turns
