Default Name That Plane

I should be able to name this classic but the memory fades … can anyone here remember the name?

Thanks!

Dennis

It's a nice thing - whatever it is, Dennis.

Is it yours?

Cheers
Max

That looks remarkably like an old scratch built from plans I have in the basement. But I suspect yours might be an enlarged version as mine has an OS 20 in it. The name escapes me right now but the way the fuselage tapers towards the tail is an indicator to identifying it. Maybe a Taylor Craft?

I think these are the plans I used for mine: Taylor Craft Very similar to yours.

If it is the same as mine, I found it to be an easy build and great flier. I have a free wheeling tail wheel on mine and the rudder provides more than enough authority on the ground. Even in grass.
