Hi all.
Im relatively new to rc. I recently picked up a rtf trainer micro aircraft and really like flying it.
In my haste to progress in the hobby i bought a Radiolink AT10 11. The transmitter is DSSS & FHSS dual spread spectrum. Is this compatable with DSMX/DSM2 as i would like to progress to a bigger trainer?
Thanks.

No, it is not. DSM2 and DSMX are Spektrum protocols. There are a few radios where you can plug in Spektrum modules, but I don't think that's possible with any Radiolink stuff.

Every manufacturer has their own protocol. I highly doubt one is better than the other, despite what all of them say. Pretty much everybody does frequency hopping, but the way they encode their signals are all different.
