Default Transmitter battery voltage

I'm getting back into r/c after taking a few years off. My transmitter (JR9503)fired up and was showing 11.7 volts. After a quick charge it went up to 12.7 volts. The battery is a 2650 Rhino 3s pac. This battery back in the day might have needed a charge once a month, but really can't remember. What is a safe low voltage to fly this at? Is 11.1 safe?

Thanks in advance

Being it is a lipo battery, I would not go by voltage. The voltage drop off is pretty fast with lipo. I would do a full charge then make a few flights and then charge back to full capacity. The amount of current it takes to top off the battery will give you a good idea of how many flights you can safely make before recharging. If the battery is in good shape, I would think that a couple flying sessions per charge is no problem. Better to run the test though.
