Default JR Transmitter Battery

I'm now retired. I can see me taking the motorhome to the flyng field and living there a few days. I'm only 60 miles from Muncie and the AMA grounds. I think an extra transmitter battery would be helpful. Yes, or No!?
How is the transmitter battery disconnected from my JR SF421EX without breaking the plastic connections?
PS: This plan has my wife's approval since she has taken up to 3 sewing machines with her for her hobby, and she likes the enviroment of the AMA 1000 acre complex.
