Well, for christmas i am most probably (hopefuly getting an aerobird and i was just wonering if anyone had any doos and donts or tips for me?

DO try to find yourself a club or at least an experinced RC pilot to help you get the plane setup and teach you to fly it safely.
DON'T think of these RC planes as toys. With props turning around 10,000 rpm, they are like bullets and can kill!

I dont mean to put down the Aero but I have owned that plane and consider it a toy compared to my hobbico nexstar and my sig rascal, but dont get me wrong that prop on the Aerobird can do some damage, just ask my roommate who thought electric wasnt that poweful. He cut his pointer finger good, nothing that needed immediate medical attention but he wasnt to comfortbale using the finger for a day or two.
