What are you going to do? Maybe he didn't see the power line or thought that he could avoid it.
Shouldn't have happened !!! I've hit power lines with my models and I've retrieved them from trees. But I hope I don't run into this situation. Wouldn't be worth my life. I think I would have left it.
Even when flying a small electric model in a city park I try to make sure to make note of all obstacles and hazards.
