Hi guys I just wanted to ask some ppl for some advice. Ive been flying 2 small parkflyers in the field behind my house for about 6 months now and have recently joined the AMA and will be joining a club by my house. The planes i have been flying are a GWS tigre moth and a GWS slowstick. I do fairly well with these planes now after going through about 20 props lol. I am currently looking into buying a gas powered trainer but i dolnt want to spend 100 bucks on a aircraft that i will be bored with in 2 months time but the nitro planes seem so much faster that im a bit afraid to look into a more airobatic plane Are there any planes out there that will last me a while ive heard a few ppl mention the sig four star would that be a better choice than a normal trainer? I plan to spend as much time with a instructor as i can before i try alone with a nitro plane and i have Realflight and do fairly well on that now but i just dolnt want to get a aircraft that will be wayy out of my skill range. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Roger

Since you're not brand new to flying that experience will help. Check to see if the club you're going to join has a trainer used for instruction...some do. The 4 star isn't a bad choice but make sure you spend some time with a good instructor to assess your current skill and see what he/she recommends. May be best to use one of the planes you've already been flying to do this.
