While I agree with minnflyers advice

I think it is going to be difficult to predict what your second plane should be before you've finished building much less flying the first!!! Who knows your "second" plane might be another trainer
My 3rd plane will be a trainer:
#1 - Hobbistar 60. Battery had to have extension wire to balance plane. Didn't tie wrap connectors. Vibrated loose about 2 minuts into first flight; airframe totally destroyed.
#2 - Global Right Flyer 60. Wonderful plane. Flew over a year. Broke tail off. Will be repaired after I solo on #3
#3 - Great Planes PT-60 kit. My first kit. Hope to fly it soon.

I hope I can get soloed out on the PT-60 without abusing it too much. I have some pretty severe physical impairments that have lengthened the learning curve. Landings are my biggest challenge right now. My instructor has has been very patient with me; trying different techniques to get the approach and glide path established. Even after a good while trying, I tend to come in with the nose too low and the nose gear has really taken a beating.
