Default Alpha off EBAY here...

Alright after the wait and the pain, my alpha rtf used trainer i bought on ebay is here. It ended up being $220 shipped (a friend helped me out with shipping). Well no wonder the ladie's shipping was coming out at $125, the box was huge, half empty, and mostly styrofoam. The 2nd smaller box had ANOTHER smaller box in it... I spent at least 2 hours taking it out, then clening it as it was all dirty, and in the process i found a huge hole! (if ou go to item 3174948765 and look at the pic, you will see jus behind the wings there is a hard to see gray sticker, under it, is the hole), not only that, it came with the propeller broken and a smaller allen tool (too small) (btw, what size do i need) so i cant even repair it!, besides 5 other scratches and worn out parts, including a non-rotating wheel, and there are alot of bubbles under the covering, makes me wonder if they did a major repair on this thing. Also some other hard-to-explain damages.

In conclusion, what do you guys think, is it worth it for $220? (it came with a manual gas pump, spare plugs and propellers and wheels plus a "deluxe heatgun from hobbico??" rubberbands and a small roll of red monocote and lastly the chargers and the Quattro Jr (poor condition also))

I emailed her explaining and demanding a considerable refund for damages or my money back...

I am no expert on the plane, but my question is why would you bid on an auction that had a seller with all those negs? Death in the family is way over used on ebay.---unless people are dropping like Flies. I am a seller on there and shipping should have been alot less. I have sent some very heavy stuff and nothing came to $125.00 for shipping. Sorry bud.

I remember people telling you to get a new one. It's your baby now. I don't understand why people bid when they don't know what shipping will be. The other guy already pointed out her bad feedback. It sounds to me like you rushed into this. I'm not sure just how bad of condition the plane is in because you are complaining about a $.65 allen wrench. You are going to have to buy tools anyway. You said that you already left bad feedback. Once that is done, there is no motivation on her part to offer anything. She probably won't either. It sounds to me like you got a pretty good deal unless everything is just smashed to hell. Is the radio broken or what?

Also, i did not rush into this, i was very patient, from the day i bid to the day we worked it out 10 days went by, and MANY other ebay deals... Second of all, she also left bad feedback without telling me!, I guess the plane HAS only been flown once or twice, but again, still, at the begginning she was asking for $125 shipping REMEMBER? Lastly, what post does it say i shouldnt have bought it?

I do some shopping on ebay but the most important thing i look for is the shipping charges,do you realize that they put more money in there pocket with higher shipping charges?,it's a game some of them have learned and they can get away with it.I agree with the other guy, once you post negative feed, you probably wont hear from her.
I was on another website somewhere and they had posted peoples names and i think there email addy to keep people warned.

What exactly do you want? Do you need to be held or something? Yeah she left you bad feedback-now what? You left her bad feedback first. Maybe she deserved it. I don't know. If she told you she was going to leave bad feedback, would that have somehow softened the blow? What is the point? It's over - Done.
