Default aileron throw ultra stick problem

I just finished assembling my ultra stick 40. Everything went smoothly by the book. When checking my throw distance the ailerons only have 3/8 " up. and 7/8" down. The manual calls for 7/8" in both directions. Will this fly as is? The servo horns were put on the servos as close to 90 degrees as possible. However when bending the control rods 90 degrees for connection to the horns, I shortened the lenghts a little. No problem because I just unscrewed the rods from the clevis a few turns to fit the horns and still kept the ailerons at nutral. Why are my servos throwing different amounts in different directions? The alierons moved freely by hand w/ no binding before connection. Any comment are welcomed.

It would help to know what servos and radio you are using. If it is a computer radio the EPA (end point ajustment) may need to be reset.

If it isint a computer radio, disconect the controle rod from the servo, move the aliron up and down to see if it moves freeley both directions, cure any binding. then turn the radio on and operate the servos to see if they move equal amounts in both directions.

When the aileron is in centered position is the servo control arm now at 90 degrees? If not you may need to make new control rods the correct length.

Is the servo control arm moving equally in both directions? If not you may have that EPA in your radio that needs adjustment.
