Speaking of wind, myself and a goodfriend were at the flying field , very windy day, dont recal the speed but set his Avistar on the runway motor running, waiting for a major gust to stop, the Avistar started lifting off the ground it rose to about 6 maby 7 feet he just kept working the ctrls. and just as it rose it settled back down, you could not have picked it up and put it down any easier, man it was awsome, man i"ve been flying a long time and I love the wind but I had never seen or heard of this happening I have to say it again it was awsome!

I live in south Brazil and we have always nice wether to fly.
Only spring we get some wind but not mor normally than 10 m.p.h.
In winter minimum temp is 5-10 °Centigrades and ofcourse no snow.
Solution for wind days is fly big planes.
I fly normally in gusty winds with my giant stinger/ G-62 without problems, but I really don´t like these days.
