Default Eagle II with 0 dihedral

Has anyone built a Goldberg Eagle II with no dihedral?
How did it perform? Anything like a Kadet Senior?
I have a kit laying around and am considering this type of construction.
Also want to adapt it to floats.
Thanks,

I have built both the Tiger and the Eagle without dihedral and found then to have much better landing characteristics. My present Eagle is an ARF and if I cannot land that thing with the stock wing, it just seems to float forever. With the modified wing, it lands easier and I can do better loops and it rolls much better.

For floats, you may want some of the diheral for stability and added upthrust during liftoff.

I also have an eagle 2 with no dihedral. I am not so sure of the differences in landing as the eagle II is a floater either way. I have made a few mods to my eagle II and still fly it regularly even though I have several other higher performance type craft.

removing the dihedral is fine depending on your ability. If your still learning, then you may want to keep some, otherwise build the wing flat.
