Default I cannot log in

I defraged my hd and since then i cant get near this place,it says;

Microsoft Internet Explorer
Internet Explorer cannnot open the internet site

Interface not registered

The page cannot be displayed The page you are looking for is currently unavailable. The Web site might be experiencing technical difficulties, or you may need to adjust your browser settings.

Sometimes i can reboot my pc and it works fine,others it wont,i'm using netscape now but i dont like it,any body have ideas ?.

download spybot search and destroy from http://security.kolla.de . It will scan your hard drive for possible spyware programs and then let you remove them since this sounds like it could be an issue with that.

Thanks,i can still get into all my programs except this one and Google,sounds weird to me.

check the HOSTS file for unusual entries...

anything under 127.0.0.1 except localhost should not be there. This would explain the way the computer is acting because when you put a domain under 127.0.0.1, your browser will look to your computer for the site and won't find anything unless your computer is a webserver.

I'm using gator (was) to remember all my passwords,when i defraged i think it got messed up,now no gator and no problems except when i try to log onto the net sometimes i have to close the log-in screen cuz it just won't dial the first time,i'll fix that tho.BTW,i erased all my cookies,
